About Jennifer

My path to this work wasn't linear.
It was lived.

I spent nearly two decades inside Big Four Professional Services and global consulting environments — recruiting, advising, and working alongside some of the most high-performing professionals in the industry. I know what it takes to get noticed, get hired, and get ahead in demanding organizational systems. That experience is the foundation of my career coaching practice.

But in 2022, after 17 years at EY, I felt a growing misalignment between where I was and where I wanted to be. I made a move. Nine months later, I was laid off. And in that moment of professional disruption, I found my purpose — not as a recruiter, but as a coach. The professionals who needed help most were struggling with uncertainty, the loss of identity, and the pressure of figuring out what comes next.  I had just lived that firsthand.

Executive Career Coach Expert Interview Preparation

That experience became JPR LLC.

What I didn't fully anticipate was that my coaching practice would also be shaped by something far more personal. Between 2015 and 2025, I cared for four aging family members through cancer, strokes, and Alzheimer's — as the primary caregiver, the secondary, and the supportive spouse. I was present for all of it and there when each of them passed.

My mother was the last, and the hardest. What began as a late-night ER visit became a cancer diagnosis, chemotherapy, surgery, and at-home hospice. I was with her through all of it — and wouldn't have had it any other way. Caring for her was my purpose and my privilege. She worried about the toll it took on me. What she couldn't have known is that something profound came out of it — and that this work is her legacy as much as it is mine.

Those ten years taught me something no certification could — that the professionals quietly managing a demanding career while caring for an aging or seriously ill loved one are carrying one of the most complex and underserved challenges there is. They need someone who understands both worlds from the inside.

This work is personal.
